Service Description

Course duration: 1 Day Candidate ratio: - Revalidation period: 3 Years Intended for: Delegates who are required to go on to clean water sites (restricted operations) for work. Restricted Operations’ includes working on service reservoirs, water pumping stations, water treatment works, wells, springs, boreholes as well as working on the network of water mains and service pipes. Introduction: This course is aimed at delegates who want to gain theoretical knowledge of how to access and how to work on clean water sites in the UK. The National Water Hygiene scheme is developed in collaboration with all UK water companies and key stakeholders from across the water industry, so you can be confident that the content covers all the required knowledge and awareness of good water hygiene practices. e-Learning (with associated e-Assessment), can be accessed via our XAMS e-Learning portal. The content and usability of the programme is carefully reviewed and approved by EUSR quality assurance team. E-Learning offers a flexible and cost-effective way to achieve an EUSR registration. Note: the e-Assessment will be taken in house at Circet Wireless Academy Training centre Content Knowledge: Module 1: The importance of water Module 2: Water as a carrier of disease Module 3: Potential contamination and its consequences Module 4: Preventing contamination Entry Requirements: Delegates must be a minimum of 18 years of age to take part in the course. Assessment Method: This course consists of an e-Assessment which is conducted online at Circet wireless Academy training Centre Certification: On successful completion of this course, the delegate will receive a National Water Hygiene Virtual Card accessible via your mobile device or tablet.

Cancellation Policy

Circet endeavours to meet specified training dates, and reserves the right to alter dates subject to operational constraints: • Where a course is cancelled by the Academy, a full refund or course transfer shall be offered In the event that a delegate is unable to attend a booked training course, the Booking Form cancellation terms apply: • Cancellation prior to the commencement of training shall incur the following charges: • Between 14 and 7 working days: 50% course cost chargeable • Within 7 days: 100% course cost chargeable • All cancellations must be made in writing (email). In the event of non-attendance on the day of training, the full cost of training shall be chargeable • Delegates who fail to complete a course shall be charged at the full rate
